FAQs
How does the Wallet system work?
The Short Version is you can only topup the wallet with crypto currency to participate in competitions or games, this happens for a couple of reasons
- Some Crypto takes a while to confirm transactions so it works better when entering and purchasing tickets as the order is not depending on confirmations in order to process
- Rather than hold crypto on the site its moved off site to a secure wallet for security purposes and to avoid the site being hacked and the crypto lost
- If a competition fails due to not enough participants refunds can happen into the wallet balance instantaneously.
- Wallet Balances can be transferred between other users easily.
Why do Competitions fail?
The way the competitions work on the site is there are a certain number of tickets that need to be sold in order for a competition to be successful the reason being is that the crypto taken for each competition entry goes towards the overall prize money, along with fees to maintain and promote the website.
We give away free entry tickets and promotional wallet top-ups as well and of course for the sake of transparency the site needs to be profitable in order to run, If a competition fails you will be refunded the wallet balance instantly to use in other competitions.
Can I cash out my Wallet balance?
Once you have topped up your wallet balance with crypto currency there is no way to redeem this back into crypto currency. It can be used to enter in other competitions or games if the balance is returned to you in the event of a competition failing. Most ticket prices are €10 and it doesn’t make sense to cash out balances this low when fees can be potentially high. So make sure you don’t add funds unless you intend to use them to enter the competitions
